I’m always on the quest to find healthy snacks for my little one to enjoy that are both visually fun and good for her to eat!  I’ve found a few good ones that I want to share with you.  Now, they are not all sugar free, but they are yummy and fun to eat!

1. PB Apple Sandwiches – these are really cute and delicious: apples, peanut butter and a few chocolate chips (optional of course!)  Instead of the chocolate chips, you could drizzle a tiny bit of honey on them and that would be scrumptious too!
2. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi –these take just minutes to make.  Cut crusts off your whole wheat bread, flatten the bread with a rolling pin, put 1 T peanut butter and 1 T jelly onto one side of the bread, roll up and cut!  My daughter loves California Rolls so she always loves eating these as well.  (And so do I!)
3. Frozen Dipped Strawberries in Yogurt – these are so simple and yummy.  All you do is dip halved or whole strawberries in yogurt, (you can use different flavors), lay them on a parchment covered plate or pan, and freeze them.  These are especially good on a warm day!
4.  Carrot Fishing Sticks – this one is super fun.  Let kids dip their carrot fishing sticks into some ranch dressing, then “catch” some goldfish crackers with the carrot sticks by tapping on the fish!  This one is not only healthy but entertaining as well!
5. Cucumber Boats – all you do is scoop out the center of the cucumber and then fill it with some dressing or yogurt (click the link to get a yogurt recipe to use).   The kids can pretend these are boats that sail right into their mouths!  If you have a hard time getting your little one to eat veggies, this might do the trick!
6. Healthy Muffins – these are delicious using strawberries, yogurt and oats.  They’re great to actually make with your little one and when you are done, you’ll have yummy muffins the whole family can enjoy!
